In the Explorer Movement, each age group has its own uniform.

Designed for activities, it represents a shared spirit and symbolizes belonging to a group. It levels social and clothing differences, thus recalling the ideal and spirit of the Explorer Movement.

  • Carrick France (béret, four-dent hat, navy pullover, tan shirt, navy bermuda, navy skort or skirt, belt, FSE buckle, navy socks)
  • Amazon (navy pullover, navy bermuda, navy skort or skirt, navy socks, navy tights)

  • The long-sleeved shirt. For girls: light blue; for boys: tan
  • The navy blue shorts for boys and the navy blue skort for girls
  • The navy blue crew neck sweater
  • The navy blue socks
  • The neckerchief (called pelt) in the colors of the Group. It symbolizes belonging to a group and will be given after two to three outings. It is tied with two knots.
  •  The belt with the FSE buckle

  • The Badges, worn on the right sleeve, below the province badge

  • The neckerchief in the colors of the troop or company. It symbolizes membership in a group and is awarded after two or three outings. It is held in place by a neckerchief slide
  • The decade is above the neckerchief slide

Progression badges: They are awarded by the company leader or the troop leader, according to the pace of the youth’s progress

  • The major badge (if applicable) above the chest cross
