Growing to become an adult

Enabling youth’s growth as they exit childhood and march toward their adult life is central to the Explorer’s pedagogy. Our educational program promotes physical, intellectual and spiritual activities. Based on young people’s desire to assert themselves, their taste for adventure, their desire to play and bond together, the Explorer educational program offers youths a community, attainable goals, a fit-for-purpose method, and activities matching their taste.

In a framework based on trust and words given, youths grow in self-confidence, become self-reliant, and forge lasting friendships.

Activities

Activities, whether they are all-day outings, weekends or camp over several days, take place with the Patrol or the entire Explorer Unit. Summer camp is the ultimate accomplishment of the a year’s worth of activities and learning.
